On June 5, as part of this year's World Environment Day (WED) celebrations, UNEP will hold a special demonstration training on how to access and use OARE. As the theme of this year's WED is climate change, and most countries affected by global warming are in developing south, the training will emphasize information resources of critical value to scientific research and education on climate change.
In addition to providing a general overview of OARE and resources therein,
the training will also give participants the opportunity to exchange
knowledge and expertise with others on how to access information related to
the environment.
This event is open to the public, and will be held in Nairobi at:
